MSPA Queue Survey 2012

The Queue Survey entails MSPA member companies tasking some of their mystery shopping assessors to seek queues in a range of retail outlets. The assessors join the queues, counting the numbers of customer groups present, and measuring the time taken for them to react the head of the queue. Once there, the assessors, acting as normal customers, measure the quality of service that they receive.

Each assessor seeks to complete an assessment of each of the eleven specified retail types:

Bank, Post Office, Grocery Supermarket, Grocery Convenience Store, Liquor Store, Fast Food Outlet, Pharmacy/Drug Store, Bus Station Ticket Office, Train Station Ticket Office, Clothing Store and Department Store
